Auto Bipedal Rig Generator

This auto rig generates a bipedal rig with optional pre-defined accessories, such as clothing and jewelry. The auto rig has presets for characters used throughout the project, Hollowed, at the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy. 

This tool transfers the UVs of a mesh to a skinned version of the mesh that has identical topology and prevents the "transferAttributes" node from appearing.

This demo portrays a quick script that moves the pivot of a selection and selection of itself to the origin. The tool does this by determining the bounding box of the selection, moving the pivot to the center of the bottom of the bounding box, and then moving the selection to the origin.

Pipeline Tools

This tool, written in Python, sets up the project folder structure and environment. The user is able to navigate the folder structure using features to open various programs and assets. This is all controlled by a local JSON file that contains all the definitions of the preferences for how a given project can be set up.

Project Management Tool

Demonstration of a tool written in Python that collects Mel and Python scripts from a user defined directory. These scripts can be used to create a Maya menu entry in the user's preferred version of Maya.

UE4

I created this blueprint within UE4 to prototype a light rig. This prototype is designed to be dropped into a scene and contain all the essential lights necessary for  lighting a scene.

The blueprint comes with directional, sky, spot, and a user defined number of point lights. The user can light a scene and retain all the values within a single node within the world outliner.

Here is a demonstration of dynamic materials controlled through blueprint input. For gameplay purposes, the textures on the statues are animated to visually trigger events in the game.

Chain Spline

Generates chain links and has the functionality to adjust ends in order to appear that the chain is attached to a given point.

Creates flag meshes along the spline and has parameters to control the distance between flags, the scale of the flags, rotation of the flags, and the ability to change out the flag mesh for other meshes.

Flag Spline

Produces a plane or cylinder to make the water look like a river or waterfall based on level design needs. Each control point can be scaled.

Water Spline

This blueprint was a collaboration with Martin Holtkamp and  created within UE4. By using vertex coloring and sine waves, we were able to control different sections and behavior of the skirt for the 'Horned God' for the project, Hollowed. This eliminated the need to animate the skirt itself.

Custom Scene Depth
Post Process Material

I developed this custom post process material for the project, Hollowed. It uses the scene depth to color the environment. There are four sections of the scene depth that can be colored by multiple colors.

Here is the looped animation for the 'Horned God' character from the project, Hollowed, which I rigged using an auto rig I created. It is presented in wireframe to show the deformation.
